We use the geochart on our internal system (behind firewall). It used
to work fine, but now it's always producing "Requested map does not
exist." error, and the maps don't load.

Even when testing the same codes from
http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/geochart.html
, nothing comes up but the error. And if I copy the HTML output and
test it in an outside machine, it works fine too.

Other visualization seems to work (linechart, corechart, etc), only
geochart is affected.

Is there any recent changes to the geochart that I need to implement?
Some new CDN that we need to unblock?

Yes there was a change in the location where we serve the maps from.
We used to serve the maps from http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/static/modules/gviz/1.0/geomap/mapfiles.
As of our last release (December 7th) we serve the maps from http://www.gstatic.com/charts/geochart/1/mapfiles (e.g., http://www.gstatic.com/charts/geochart/1/mapfiles/world_COUNTRIES.js).

Let us know if this helps,
EZChart

Sorry for the late reply. Finally able to check on this again after
the holiday season.

I tested on our network, and find that gstatic.com is not blocked. I
can also load the world_COUNTRIES.js file, but still having the
"Requested map does not exist." error.

Is there any other URL to test? Could it be that other libraries or
the map images are blocked?
