Hi there,

I'm working on some visualisations (barchart and pie chart thus far
but with more to come) and they include tooltips which work a treat on
nigh on all browsers except for Internet Explorer where the font-
family is replaced by some very odd Serif typeface (looks a little
like Elephant or Engravers MT) and has been converted to "Small
caps"...?

Any ideas what's going on?

Any ideas how I can solve it?

Cheers in advance,

Dom

I'm afraid I don't quite understand.
What do you mean by "converted to small caps"? You write 'ABC' and the tooltip displays 'abc'?

If you could supply an example page demonstrating the problem it would be very helpful.

Thank you,

The graph at the bottom left corner of this page : http://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/
is an example of this problem.
Tooltips on hover display fine except when Internet Explorer is in
Compatibility mode. This site is not in the list of Microsoft's
compatibility view list : http://ie9cvlist.ie.microsoft.com/ie9CompatViewList.xml
and when I manually set it to view in compatibility mode, the font
becomes unreadable(elephant?), otherwise in all other browsers it
shows up as what I set it to - Arial. This only happens when the page
is viewed in Compatibility mode in IE9.
