Can i add Background image for Pie Chart

I have tried to change backgroud of Piechart in google visualization
API. I am able to change only background-color by using property in
options.I want to add background-image for the pie chart. That means
only chart should display on my background image..is it possible in
Google visualization API?

Try 'none' background color and put your image behind the chart.

That should work fine in FF, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, but probably will not work in IE, as the chart team was not able to implement transparent backgrounds for IE.

Will the transparent background now work in IE?

Also, I tried setting the background color as transparent in a ScatterChart but the image behind it is not displayed. Is there another property that needs to be applied?

To the best of my knowledge, transparent backgrounds are not working in IE.
