Smooth Line Charts look Bumpy

I'm using the option curveType: 'function' on my line chart, but when it draws, the line jumps up a bit before descending. Note, there is no value at the apex of the apex of the "bump".
Here is an example:
Am I doing something wrong? I've checked the data. FYI, there is a data point per week in this graph.
Any help would be appreciated.
