Radar Chart with new Google Charts API

Hello all,

I've been using the old Radar Chart. As you can see on the page the API is deprecated.

I tried to find the equivalent in the new API but I wasn't succesful. Can you give me a hint how I can realize da Radar plot with the new API.

Hi Oliver,

We don't have a replacement yet for the RadarChart, but the image charts are not going away anytime soon, despite being deprecated.  

If you are interested in working on it, it is possible to implement a RadarChart with the AreaChart combined with other series for drawing radial axis lines and labels.  I would be happy to help you work out the details, and this could eventually be wrapped up as a new chart time.

I would be interested in having some code on how to insert a radar chart in a html page. I'm new and I don't see an example in the radar charts page.

Also, is there a new radar chart with new api. I read I can still use old api without problem with radara charts. thanks

It seems like there is not alternative to the radar chart at the moment, what are we supposed to do?

Hi Daniel, 

This thread hasn't been active for the past couple of years, but I see you are interested in the Radar Chart.  I have a situation where data is being migrated out of Google Sheets and into Excel for the sole purpose of using an image feature within their radar chart functionality. All I need is a way to fill the centre area with an image. What is the method in Java to fill that area with an image?  See attached image of the radar to be replicated.
