Displaying HTML in the Column Header

the documentation is pretty limited so I couldn't find out how to do it or if it could be done so hoping someone here can put me at rest.

My DataTable() column Headings are wider than their contents which is generally just percentages and dollar values.

I want to insert a <br> between the multi word columnd headings to shrink their width but it is not working.

I am going to assume that HTML is stripped (because nothing has changed in my headings) BUT - how do I insert line breaks in my heading columns so they are not ridiculously wide?
