Gantt Chart: Current Date Indicator

Hi.
First of all, let me say I love working with Google Charts. Its easy to understand and to bring into my solutions. I'm using FileMaker and the Web Viewer object to render charts via Google Charts from data in the database.

I built a Gantt chart for FileMaker and it works great. My client asked if there's a way to show the current date on the chart: A vertical line or bold date or something that shows what is today so they can see the overall progress compared to today.

This doesn't seem to be a feature. Could it be added? or does anyone have a way to do this?

Hi Jeremy,

Highlighting particular dates is a good idea, but we don't have support for that, especially in the Gantt chart.  We should consider adding something like this in the future.

Hi Jeremy,
My I ask how to implement a Google Gantt in the Filemaker Web Viewer? I'm use version FM Version 15 Windows.

This is a FileMaker-based implementation I put together for 35 (so far) integrations. One of them is the gantt Chart.

Hi Daniel,

Any good news on a current date indicator implementation?

I'd love to use Google Charts' gantt but since it does not highlight the current day and neither slice it by period of time, it's almost impossible to convince people to use it.

Sorry, no news on Gantt.  We haven't had any time to work on that chart.
