no callback event for deselection

I'm using GeoChart in region mode. I have registered a callback function for the 'select' event which generally works well. Selected countries can be seen by a thicker border. However, if the user clicks on the sea I can see on the chart the country has been deselected however no callback is fired (I've also tried the regionClick event with the same result). This looks like a bug to me. Shall I raise on github? Thanks
