can gantt chart arrows originate from the left rather than the middle?

using the simple example below, is it possible for the arrows to originate from the left side of the dependencies rather than from the middle?  Or is it possible to change the origination of the arrows?

Thankyou.  I'm a beginner so please tell me if my post isn't clear.
