Problem rendering area chart with custom hAxis.viewWindow

I'm currently experiencing some difficulty getting my area chart to render properly with a custom hAxis viewWindow. When I set the min and max, the horizontal axis is scaled correctly, however the trendline goes out of view if there is a much higher data point outside of the view. See attachment for screenshot.

Is there a configuration that would fix this?
