Distributing `gviz_api` libs ... in (free, maybe GPL ...) third-party apps ...

Hello ... my question is very simple ... I am a developper (... well I
think so ... ;) and I would like to know if distributing gviz_api
client libraries (... more specifically Python client libs ;) within
my pkg represents an infringement of copyright or anything like that
... The fact is that I would like to distribute a pkg which depends on
gviz_api module, and I'd also like to provide a copy of this module
(... no modifications ;) so that the pkg be able to fall-back to this
default implementation if users have not installed it ... yet.
Thirdly, and the most important, I don't want to heart anybody's
feelings, nor even violate any EULA or something like that ...

If possible ... I'd like to know if there is any restriction so as to
license my own module ... I am planning GPL, LGPL, PSF licence ... and
any other FOSS licence is welcomed as a suggestion ...

The Python lib you are referring to is published under the Apache License 2.0, which is included in the LICENSE file in the library.

While you should read the terms in detail, the short version is that the license enables you to do anything with the library as long as you refer back to the Apache license in the new code and include the LICENSE file that came with the package to your new package, and add a NOTICE file that says that gviz_api was used.

Thnx ... I just wanted to be sure that I was doing the right thing.
Anyway, if I need further assistance (... you know details are details
... ;) I think I could contact you (... isn't it ? ...)

.. and if anybody is concerned about anything with TracGViz plugin,
well, pls contact me ...

The idea is always to avoid any harm to anybody, and reach as many
users as possible ... with FOSS ... ;)

Yes, we know ... Open source is magic ! ... but we must pay attention
to the details ... ;)
