Line graph with uneven years (x-axis)

In out development of a line graph we get an x-axis which is not correctly scaled. http://i-use.eu/readymade-statistics/eu-statistics/92-page-statistics/eu-statistics/179-poverty-in-eu.html#graph
The distance between the years is the same despite the data are from 2005, 2010 and 2012.
Does anybody know how to fix that.

The numbers 2005, 2010, and 2012 are actually just the column labels, and not used as data in any way.

You could possibly fake the positioning that you want by inserting additional columns for all the intervening years, giving 0s as the values so those bars won't be left out entirely.  Hope that helps.
