Data points vary in color based on a 3rd variable

Hi!

I would like to know if I can have the data points displayed on my scatter plot in googlecharts vary in color based on some third variable?  

For instance like such :

I know I could use a bubble chart for this but I would like to have a date range slider which I don't believe is possible with bubble charts.
