We have pushed 1.1 to 1.0.

This release introduces:

  • Bug fixes and optimizations

  • AnnotationChart, eventual replacement for AnnotatedTimeline

  • getImageURL has been renamed to getImageURI

  • Added Sankey and Calendar visualizations (documentation forthcoming)

  • Corecharts and geochart can be exported as a PNG image

    • Helps users print their charts by exporting them as a data: url.

  • Crosshairs for data points (Scatter, Line, Combo Chart types)

  • Column/BarChart Annotation Improvements

  • addOneTimeListener (automatically removes itself after first usage)

  • Annotation boxStyle option, for stroke color and size, rounded corners, and gradients.

  • String to Number conversion in DataTable

    • String will now be explicitly converted to Number when the column is specified as numeric. Additionally, setCell() on a cell that should be numeric will convert the String to Number.

  • Numerous bug fixes

    • Timeline

      • Display bug when bar was too small for even the ellipsis

      • "showBarLabels" option

      • added enableInteractivity support

      • fix "granularity" bug that caused crashes with particular data sets

    • Category Focus Tooltip positioning closer to data

    • Hovering over data with duplicate values

Documentation for these features will be live later today at https://developers.google.com/chart/.

Please test your product is functioning correctly and report any issue you encounter to this mailing list.

Enjoy,

The Google Chart Tools team

Thank you!

I'm very pleased to see that the undocumented features of the previous release are now documented as well

Since the release I get a serious problem with my script.
Error is the following.

'undefined' is not an object (evaluating 'c.ma.H[0].x')

When using animation > 0 to change layout.
Here's an example.

Hello,

I get:
Cannot read property 'x' of undefined

When trying to redraw the chart after user input. Chart draws fine on load. I haven't been able to track down exactly what has change to the input for chart.draw as of yet.
Right now I just need to know which specific version is the one previous to this one, so I can revert, as this is happening in production right now.

Anyone know how to get the version numbers?
So I can google.load another version of visualization.

Thanks
/Anders

Same error of mine, Anders.
Safari displays 'undefined' is not an object (evaluating 'c.ma.H[0].x') while Chrome Cannot read property 'x' of undefined.
AFAIK you can't revert to previous version, only 1.0 for production and 1.1 for release candidate.

Unbearable...

What I found at the moment is that if you disable animations or don't set hAxis.textPosition option to "in", it works correctly.

Thanks a lot Roberto! Disabling animations did it.

So stupid you can't use a specific version...

Definitely a bug.
I hope they will fix it soon.

Yes, like in Google Maps APIs.

Technically, you can load a specific version, but the version numbers are not public, so you have to experiment to find the previous one.  Try loading different combinations of v 1.xx.  Any invalid "xx" will result in loading the current release.

We're working on the issue and will have a patch rollout later today.

Thanks,

Mitch

Sounds great. Will try the patch when it comes and report back.

Hi Alex, it appears that you didn't upload your file, but instead pasted the path to it on your hard drive. You will need to upload the file, either by using the Attach a file link (Inline image 1) or by uploading to an image host (like imgur, for instance) and then linking to the URL that they generate.
