Trendlines in Material Scatter Chart

Hey,

I'm trying to plot a Scatter Chart with date on the X-axis and two numeric data points on the dual Y-axis. I also want to show a trendline for each of the series but I'm unable to get the trendline to show up. Is there a different way to specify the trendline then what is available in the documentation?

Hi Pratik,

Unfortunately, trendlines are not yet supported in Material Charts. You'll have to use a Classic Chart in order to use them.

Thanks! Yeah I'm able to plot trend lines in Classic Charts.

Also is there be any way to highlight a region in the background of a scatter plot i.e for highlight area between y1 and y2 on each of the Y-axes?

It's a bit hacky, but you can accomplish this in Classic Charts by using a ComboChart with an area series.
