Chart won't expand past a certain column

I have a large google sheet with many data sets and many charts following each data set that I update each week. Each week I add a new column to the data set and expand the chart parameters by that new column. It has worked every week for the last 8 months but now the chart won't expand any further. Is there a limit to how many columns can be on an X Axis?
