Insert Calendar Chart into Google Sheets?

I see Google Charts now has a beautiful Calendar chart: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/calendar

And there are instructions for how to insert charts into Google Sheets: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/spreadsheets

However, the Calendar chart does not appear in the list of chart types (Insert > Chart > Chart Type).

Is it currently possible to insert a Calendar chart into a Google Sheet? I don't quite have the skillset to build a separate one page site just to host this chart.
