Gantt Chart Customization

I'd like to know how to customize a couple of things in Gantt Charts:

i) The labels are fixed to the left by default and the bars are displayed according to the date/time: is there a way to display the labels inside the bars ?

ii) I'm using multiple charts using Bootstrap tab views, each tab has a part of a bigger chart with some bars from other chart. How can I navigate from one chart to another (change tab) when I click/select a particular bar ?

I'm aware of getSelection() but can't make it work according to the requirement.
