This is a pretty weird bug but I didn't find anything on it so I
thought I'd report it here, see if anyone has run into it.

Basically I have found that the chart headings are being rendered in a
really bizarre font when using IE (7 or 8) running on Vista. The font
seems to vary from Vista computer to computer, but it is consistent in
the respect that it is not the font that is specified by the chart VML
(Arial).

The bug can be seen on the Google Chart Visualization example pages. I
am using the Line Chart so that's what I've seen it in, but I'm sure
other charts exhibit this same behavior. This issue does not occur in
Firefox on those same Vista computers, nor does it occur on IE (7 or
8) running on XP.

This is the example page I used in my screenshots:
http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/documentation/gallery/linechart.html

And here are the screenshots with annotations:

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting the fonts to look identical
from system to system, but I at least expect the browser to use the
same font. All Windows computers have Arial installed and these charts
are specifying Arial as the font. For IE on Vista to be using in some
cases a bizarre serif font, and in other cases (different Vista
computer) a cursive font ... that is just wrong.

We heard some user say that when they specify the font name with additional quotes it solves this problem although we haven't tested it.
