Yes, you can have the cells hyperlinked.  I am uncertain as to whether or not the spreadsheets will return a hyperlink in a query (I suspect that they return the text of the link and not the HTML to create it).  If you add the url itself in a column in the spreadsheet, though, you can format the data returned by a query as a hyperlink.

I have create an google spreadsheet that has hyperlink in many of the cells. These hyperlinks link to individual Google Sites. The google spreadsheet sits on a Google Site and serves as a homepage or dashboard of all the google sites. I used the =hyperlink() formula in each cell.

When I convert the google spreadsheet into a Table, I can no longer click on the text in the cells to have it take me to the hyperlink associated with it.

The reason I want to convert the spreadsheet into a Table is that it looks WAY nicer/cleaner and you can sort individual columns.

My question is: Is there a way to convert a spreadsheet into a table and allow the cell values to be hyperlink to a google site or any website for that matter?

I guess I'm really trying to do this without writing any script only because I just don't have any experience or knowledge with that stuff. And you're right, when I convert to a table all that shows is the text.

There is no way to get it to display URLs as links without doing some scripting.  I can help you with that, though, if you share what you have for code so far.

Unfortunately I don't have any Javascript knowledge and thus no code currently written. I appreciate your responses though.

Ok then, can you publish the spreadsheet and post a link to it here?  If so, I can make a basic template for what you want.
