Hi,

I get errors when I call the URL

http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?&cht=gom&chs=158x98&chd=t:0&chl=0&chds=0,30&chco=C8ffff,c8ffff,0000ff

but this is ok

http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?&cht=gom&chs=158x98&chd=t:0&chl=0&chds=0,100&chco=C8ffff,c8ffff,0000ff

it was okay recently

I am having a similar issue which has started today as well.  I use charts to generate map pins with numbers in them.

This is one of the failures:

This is because of the planned outage of Google Image Charts (not Google Charts!) which was announced here.

It will be turned on again between 2pm and 3pm today, and then turned off for good on March 14.

No license, sorry. (It's always been free and its deprecation was announced 7 years ago.)

There are alternative services out there (such as the actively maintained Google Charts) and services outside Google. What's best for you depends on what sort of charts you need, whether JavaScript is an option for rendering them, and other criteria.

Thanks for the info Jon.  I’ll start looking at Google Charts.  All I have used this for is to put numbers (up to 3 digits) on a colored pin to use in Google Maps.

were you able to find solution? I have same issue, I  just need to display Pin number on map. Is there a easy way to change the syntax etc? I am a non programmer, looking to just replace the line or code in CSHTML file.  Help is appreciated.. thanks!
