MVC video player with caption

My most field is in area of web-based video player with accessibility,
possibably dissertation.

The data for caption such as .srt, .txt. .smil, .xml, etc to support
for captined video player.

Is there any other programming language than Actionscript and Flex to
build an above bespoke application especially multi-language support
and customised button?
