Google Search All Mail

I have an IMAP account for my Google account.  When I delete a message in Outlook, it is automatically deleted from my inbox and any folders/labels I may have.  However, the message is not deleted from the Gmail All Mail folder. is there a way to delete any emails in the All Mail account that I have not saved in my Outlook sub-folders or given a Google label to.  I am fast approaching the allotted storage limitations for my email account and need to delete messages that I no longer want.  Doing this by individuals searches is tedious and not very productive.  There should be an obvious solution but it eludes me.  Any suggestions?
