I'm trying to find out whether Google still has a dictionary feature I
stumbled across awhile back and that I cannot find again. You could
select "Dictionary" from some drop down list (seems like it was on the
toolbar) and a screen displayed where you entered a word you want to
define. The result was a list of definitions from multiple
dictionaries plus the cool feature of clicking an icon to hear how the
word is pronounced.

I have tried and tried but can't find it again. Using the feature of
typing define: word you wanted defined in the Google search box doesn't
work for me. I really liked what I stumbled across before.

Anyone out there know what I'm talking about?

Thanks.

just use the define operator. For example, a query could look like
this..: define: cheese

He said in his post that the define operator doesn't work for him...
