The Job Description is as follows:

 

-->Storage(L3)-Should have a sound Knowledge on the concepts of Storage Area Network (SAN).Knowledge on differences between NAS and SAN. Experience of managing SANDesktop and Director switches. Experience on managing of Logical Units (LUN).Should be familiar with Business Copy (BC), Continuous access (CA), InformationLifecycle Management (ILM) concepts. Should Have experience in installing & configuring Backups using tape libraries. Knowledge on configuring zones.Should have hands on experience with Fiber Channel (FC) technology products.Experience Storage trouble shooting. Aware of i-SCSI concepts. Should haveknowledge of backup solutions and functionality such as

IBM TSM, HP DataProtector, Veritas Netbackup etc. Should have experience in backup strategiesand rotation.

 

-->Backup and Recovery(L2)-Should have hands on experience on the following concepts Networkermanagement console, Volume Management, Index Management, NMC report, Media poolStaging, Archive, Group Scheduling, Notes Module backup, Library management ,SAP R3 module Backup and VTL administration. Should have hands on experienceon the following activities like Scheduling of New Backups/ Modifying existingJobs, Performing Mission critical restores, Installation &  configuration ofbackup tools, Debugging Backup Failures, Scripting / Automation of Minor Tasks,Installation of TSM client agents, Planning Backup Policies Storage Units & pools, Tape Library Configuration, Administration and Installation ofmaintenance patch for backup tools and Media Management &  storage Management.Should have in-depth knowledge of support/administration of Unix Servers and/orWindows Servers.

 

-->Platform Support(L3)-Candidates should have worked in Unix / Windows Platforms ,High availability, Server Performance, optimization and fine tuning,Checking the Server health, Checking network health,Administering DNS/DHCP servers,Administrating IAS, Domain Controller issues,Resolving the critical issues.Proactive checks, Automation &  Configuration

 

-->Infra Storage Administration(L3)-Configuring and managing replication products like Flash copy,Volume copy, Global Copy, Remote Mirror, Global Mirror andMetro Mirror. Storage hardware management, Configuring primary and DR storages.Installing &  configuring new expansion unit and disks. Troubleshooting skillsin LPAR.  Firmware upgradation on storage.Configuring &  trouble shooting all copy service configurationfiles from server end. Designing & planning for new implementation, RAID, volume,volume group, and array. Managing &  TroubleshootingStorage and Fabric issues.Coordination.

 

-->Netapp Storage(L3)-Expertise in Aggregate,Snapshot ,qtree, QUotas,LUns and Montioring TOols forautomation. Expertise in Upgrade of latest ONTAP Version. Expertise inReplication,CIFS,NFS,ISCSI Protocals Expertise in Space Allocation Expertise inLicenses and SRS Setup. Should have knowledge on System Firmware &  DiagnosticsShould have knowledge on Tools and Documentations should have knowledge onSumbit a case /Submit an RMA should have Implementing bandwith allocation ruleson the NetCache should have troubleshooting knowledge on Slow Performanceaccross subnets Should very much strong on Netapp Backup Concepts shouldknowledge on Filer's UPgradation Expertise in Netapp Filer Models and StorageCapacity
