That concept and diagram actually looks pretty sane to me. I hate to
ask though, but did you generate that diagram using an unregistered
diagramming tool? If so, is there any way you can use something else
to generate the diagram with?

Hi,
Indeed, I have made this diagram with an unregistered diagramming tool (edraw).
I usually work with objecteering. I'll try to do this diagram with it.
Here is an architecture diagram that I've begin with objecteering. It is not finish but you should maybe already have an opinion about it.

This looks good so far. The only thing I might change is show that
there are multiple instances of SyncItem and DataRegion. So far, so
good. =o)

Sorry for the slow response -- things have been crazy at work lately.
These two look great, actually. I'll see about integrating them into
the design doc and the rest of the wiki in the near-ish future.
