Google Translate API laguage code for Brazilian Portuguese

I am interesting in translating to Brazilian Portuguese. Based on the google translate API document, we only have "pt", which looks like Portugal portuguese. Any suggestions on how to get Brazilian portuguese via API ?

Google Translation API currently support "pt" for the general Portuguese language. If a language is not on the list of supported languages, please feel free to open a feature request on the Public Issue Tracker as documented here.
