Hi all,

I'm a newbie and since I didn't find any articles relevant to my question, I hope my post wouldn't seem idiotic. I've trying out the .NET sample library of translate API to translate English to Traditional Chinese; meanwhile the output only delivers one of an obvious plural number of glosses without specification of the part-of-speech. I understand that since it's a SAMPLE library, it wouldn't contain too much info, but I wonder if it's possible to see how comprehensive a full translation would be, e.g. is there going to be a complete glossary of a word categorized under different POSs, etc, so to decide whether it's worth using the paid service.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nick

The paid translate service is only different in that your limit is decided by your billing. The "sample library" you refer to is probably a sample project in .NET that will use the .NET client library to connect to the Translate API and make calls. By enabling the API, using an API key, setting up billing, you'll be able to run that sample project as many times as you like, provided you have the ability to pay and don't exceed certain short-term quotas.

Feel free to use the FAQ and the docs pricing page to learn more about the API.
