Good morning, Team!
Our web app uses Google Translate to translate Event messages written by admins and sent to the group. I'm trying to come up with a good, translatable paragraph in English to test with. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" just doesn't cut it. I'm trying to brainstorm meaningful test cases for it. My search engine criteria is proving too tough for Google to use (things like "translation test case sample paragraph") so I thought I'd come to the source & try my luck here.
What I'm trying to validate seems easy enough: that a paragraph written in English is translatable into French, German or Spanish without translation errors or resulting in odd phrasing that could lead to misunderstanding.
I want to include things like dates, times and proper names to make sure they translate with the same syntax as in the original English.
I would also like to take one paragraph written natively in Spanish, German and French and translate each into English.
What do you think? Any ideas?
Thank you,
