Too many segments error - limit exceed

to Google Cloud Translation API

I am trying to translate a 169 item (sentences) list with (translate.client.Client() API) but I get this error :

(BadRequest: 400 POST https://translation.googleapis.com/language/translate/v2/detect?prettyPrint=false: Too many text segments)

How can I handle this situtation ?
