Batch Translation Requests - What is maximum Document Size & Does it detect Source Language automatically?

In Batch translation requests, can someone please clarify the below questions?

• Is source language mandatory? If this is not passed, will the API detects the source language automatically?
• As per docs, this API can support upto 10 files at once and the total content size is <- 100M code points. Is there any maximum size limit per each file? If so, what's the max limit size?

Specifying the source language is not necessary [1], as long as it's one of the following languages [2], the Translation API will automatically detect it.

There is no maximum file size limit for batch translations, but there are other quotas listed here [3], other than the limits that you've already mentioned.

To clarify, source language is mandatory in batch translation[1]. Auto source language detection only works for TranslateText method.
