Translate whole website

Hello,

One customer wants to translate their whole website (government customer) and I am getting a bit confuse. I know they could use our Translation API, but also found following info:

https://support.google.com/translate/answer/2534559?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en&oco=

which is free, and also:

https://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/translate-your-website-with-google.html

which redirects to: https://translate.google.com/intl/en/about/website/ which doesn´t seem to be supported any more,

but also:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfAyBtxLmBe3s1m-6nkSBcs7W_8EAUmwmPTEXlSqctg1QCRBw/viewform

which does seem to be operational,

and also this presentation:

which seems quite recent.

So, can a customer use the translate widget if it is a public sector customer? or is it "under construction" or "not supported any more"?

Hi Teresa,

Since Google deprecated their website translator, we've developed our own, which works in a similar fashion, plus it's focused on the translation of web apps, not just websites. Also, it also talks to a commercial Google Translate API, which should be more gov-friendly compared to the free Google Translate.
