why Sanskrit is not part of the Google translator ?

I'm not sure why it's not yet an available language within the "Translate Community;" I'll check on that presently.

Any update on this? I would love to see Sanskrit added to the list of languages.

Here is a very active Sanskrit group.I prefer Sanskrit be added to the list of languages in Google Translator.

Hi all, thanks for your patience. The Translate team continually evaluates which languages to add, but at this time they do not have plans to add Sanskrit. We consider factors including the availability of parallel data, the availability of experts, and potential usage.
