Difference in translation quality of paid Google API and online google translate

Hi Team,

Hope you are doing good,

We use paid Google API for our machine translation requirements in our organisation. During our translation quality research for Chinese into English, we found that, for few captions requiring translation, online Google Translate (translate.google.com) is providing more accurate translation than the translation provided for same caption, when we translate it using paid API through our tool. We have make sure that, caption is not getting broken while it's passed to API for machine translation by tool, but still we are seeing difference in translation provided by online Google and Google paid API.

Can you please let us know why we are seeing this difference in translation quality between online Google translate and paid Google API?

Also, we found one article on some development Google made for machine translation of Chinese language specifically with neural machine translation. Following is the link for your reference.

Is this new development rolled out in both platforms, online Google translate and paid Google API?, if not when we are expecting it to get rolled out in Google translate paid API?

You are correct in that the difference in translations is due to the new Google Neural Machine Translation system. You may refer to the duplicate thread posted here about the topic.

I also found the differences of Korean into English translation between Google paid API and online Google. When will GNMT(Google Neural Machine Translation service) be rolled out in Google paid API for the whole language set? Can I know its roll-out milestones?
