feature request - copy calendars

Thanks for this great program. Could there be a way (or is there
already) for members of a given group to import a copy of a task
list?

We're using Google Sites and Google Calendar for classes, and we hope
to be able to share an assignment list. Ideally, each student could
get a copy of that list and then check off the assignment when they've
completed it. Possible?
