Hi Rich,

As mentioned in other posts, it appears that GTP stopped working in
late 2011.

I have been working on an alternative called Google Tasks Backup. It
is still in beta, but I'm sure that I can add plain text output.
Please try out Google Tasks Backup at https://tasks-backup.appspot.com

If it doesn't provide what you need in either CSV or HTML formats,
please provide some details of how you would like the plain text
format to appear by filling in an enhancement request at
http://code.google.com/p/tasks-backup/issues/list

Please include details such as; What would you want to to use the
plain text for? Is it to go as input to another program? To be
printed? The eventual use will determine the best format to use for
plain text.

What would be the best way to differentiate the various attributes of
a task in a plain text format? That is, what is the best way to
indicate the various text parts such as, Due date, Completed date,
Status, Title, Notes, etc., especially bearing in mind that Title and
Notes may be multi-line, and that most fields are optional.

If you can provide some ideas and/or a sample, I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

Julie
