How does Google verify that the students are actually enrolled in a University of College? If a  student who  is out of his college
does some manipulation of his scanned copy of  college Identity card or transcripts and submits it to GSOC, will Google identify that?
Are background checks done?

The students must submit a proof of enrollment form as part of their registration process.

Yes they will.

In the sense that we verify the information provided to us? Yes.

Thanks,
