Quick reminder that we'll be hosting a few more GSoC Contributor Guidance talks over the next few weeks, including one Wednesday, Feb 19 from 16:00-17:00 UTC.

 

GSoC Contributors, to help you prepare for the application period (March 24 - April 8) we strongly encourage you to stay tuned to our official website, read the Program Rules and the GSoC Contributor/Student Guide in the next few weeks to get insightful ideas from past participants for your program success.

Join us at one of our upcoming contributor talks to learn more about the program and how to prepare for the application period which starts March 24 and closes April 8 at 1800 UTC.

We will announce the mentoring orgs accepted into GSoC 2025 February 27th at 1800 UTC. At that point you will definitely want to start communicating with the orgs that interest you and review their Project Ideas to help you understand more about the types of projects they would like GSoC Contributors to work on over the summer. The earlier you reach out the better your chances of being accepted into GSoC org and finding the perfect org for your interests!
