GSoC duration

Hello,

I've read this in a post - 'As long as you stay in your home country and work from there for the entirety of GSoC and you are an enrolled student on April 25 then you can participate'

I'm not sure what exactly is the start and end date of GSoC. Can someone please help me.

That is text from last year. You have to be enrolled as a student as of May 4th and meet the other eligibility requirements as stated in the Program Rules.

Be sure to read the information on the program site - g.co/gsoc.

Google Summer of Code 2017, is a program where university students spend their 3 month summer break coding on an open source project. Visit g.co/gsoc for more information. The student application period opens on March 20th. Coding begins May 30th.
