Hello,

I wanted to know if it is possible to submit two proposals for the same organization. The two proposals are based on different ideas. If selected I will of course work on one, but is it possible to
submit both? Would greatly appreciate a quick response since the deadline is approaching.

regards,
Joydeep

You can submit up to a total of 5 proposals. If you wish to submit 2 or 3 to the same organization that is fine, but you can only submit a total of 5 proposals.

Remember that quality is far more important than quantity and historically those students submitting 3 or more proposals have lowered their odds of being selected (likely because they didn't spend enough time researching and writing any one proposal).

Google Summer of Code 2017, is a program where university students spend their 3 month summer break coding on an open source project. Visit g.co/gsoc for more information. The student application period opens on March 20th. Coding begins May 30th.
