We'll be hosting 2 more GSoC Contributor Guidance talks over the next 12 days!

Before the application period opens (March 24 - April 8) we strongly encourage you to review our official website, read the Program Rules and read the GSoC Contributor/Student Guide to understand all the details of the program.

Learn more about Google Summer of Code and how to prepare for the application period which starts March 24 and closes April 8 at 1800 UTC by joining us in one of our upcoming info talks. (Please note the content is the same in each talk so you only need to join once, if you joined one of our earlier talks over the past couple of weeks it’s the same content).

GSoC 2025 Mentoring Organizations announcement on February 27th at 1800 UTC. 

Once the 2025 Orgs are announced, you should start communications with your preferred orgs and review their Project Ideas to help you understand more about the types of projects they would like GSoC Contributors to work on over the summer. The earlier you reach out to Orgs the better!
