Does GOOGLE offer something akin to a flatfile or SQL database engine
to be used with GOOGLE FORMS?

I have migrated one of my clients (501c3 not for profit) to the free
GOOGLE DOCS platform in recent months, and would like to mount a
burgeoning database within the same framework. The database is
tracking daily activity for a mens rehab facility.

GOOGLE's platform is attractive for many reasons:
1) The users are familiar with the interface
2) As a not for profit, cost is an issue, free is best
3) Files are kept off site (in a perfect world), adding a disaster
recovery component.

Migration to UBUNTU desktop, with Mozilla browser, is almost complete.
I can mount a local UBUNTU/SAMBA server as a worst case scenario, but
would rather leverage GOOGLE APPS.

Does GOOGLE offer any tools for this type of need?

I am tracking about fifty users, the table size should be minimal.
As well I am training some of the men to do basic HTML development,
and would like to make the table maintenance as simple as possible.

Hi there,

Thank you for your email, but unfortunately I think you may have chosen the wrong discussion group. This is an email discussion list for the Google Summer of Code  [1] program, not for Google in general or for Google applications.  Please let us know if you have any questions about GSoC that we can answer for you.

Cheers,
Carol
