GSoC info session in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Hi there,

We are going to arrange a GSoC info session in BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) on March 8 (Tuesday) at 3:00 pm local time (GMT 9:00 am). Venue: Room No. 108, CSE Wing, New Academic Building, BUET.

The session in primarily intended for BUET students. But if anyone else wants to join please mail me at rus...@gmail.com prior to the session.

The session will be conducted by me (Wasik Mursalin, Chromium, 2010) and by Abu Zaher (Apertium, 2009).

Hi,

I don't think we'll make a video of the session. But we may share the
keynotes online. The keynotes won't be much different from the
template keynotes available in the keynote repository. We will use
slightly modified and localized version of those.

Actually this session was announced earlier in a separate mailing list
that belongs to BUET students and it was intended mainly for them. As
we have arranged it personally it was easy for us to arrange it inside
BUET. But if anyone else is interested to host another session with a
few interested students we would be happy to help.

Hi Rohit,

I don't think it will be possible to capture the session this time. We will try to do it in the later sessions. Moreover it'll be mostly in Bengali (native language in Bangladesh). So I am not sure how beneficial it would be for people outside of Bangladesh. Anyway there are already some community supported videos. You will be able to find some videos related to GSoC in the you tube channel.
