Hello,

If I'm enrolled in a coursera's course (https://www.coursera.org/), am I eligible to participate as a student in Google Summer of Code?

Nope. Unless you are also enrolled in an accredited university, coursera does not qualify on its own as an accredited university.

Cheers,

Probably not. I believe as part of those programs they give you a disclaimer that you are not an enrolled student in the university even though the class is offered through them. So no, that would not count as being an enrolled student.

Thanks,

None would be valid!

@Carol: For completeness, edX and other such online courses are also a separate organization alltogether and hence cannot be considered legally as courses by those Universities.

Indeed, I understand. Thank you Carol.
