January GSoC Community Talks with Srishti Sethi

[Google Summer of Code Announce]

The Google Summer of Code Community Talks is a way for past participants to share their GSoC and open source journey.  Through these unique and authentic stories, we aim to inspire potential contributors and connect them with GSoC through our presenters. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask presenters questions.  

This month’s talk on January 19th at 16:00 - 16:45 UTC will be with Srishti Sethi, Senior Developer Advocate at Wikimedia Foundation. Srishti is also Wikimedia's GSoC Mentor and Org Administrator.

In this presentation, Srishti Sethi shares her journey in the FOSS & education technology sphere - how it all started with GSoC and, in fact, was the first stepping stone of her tech life. Based on her learnings from being part of the GSoC ecosystem in various roles, she shares some tips that future contributors can follow to make the most out of their GSoC experience.
