Unable to add slack as alert channel in GCP Monitoring

Hi All,

I am trying to add a slack to alert channels in GCP.

I am following this documentation itself.

Also when I went to the slack web page to try understanding how the integration works, it seems like they are saying, a bot user is required. Which relates to the error in the above screenshot.
This is the link to the slack documentation.

Please help. It would be really helpful to get the errors in slack. (Currently I am able to get lerts via email).
