In the past week, Google has announced that they will no longer be putting resources into Google Maps Engine (GME). GME users are directed to transfer their data and projects to Google Fusion Tables. However, when you download the file in GME, only the original file is exported. I spent hours making edits to the vector data in GME and these edits do not transfer with the original file.

How do I go about exporting the edited vector data from GME?

Here is the perspective of my boss, the former Director of Applications Development at Oracle:
"I've never heard of software offered to enterprise that does not allow download of edits.  If such a product were created, we'd consider the development incomplete and patch it right away, especially since it requires so little manpower and affects so many people.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a simple data mapping exercise, pointing to the updated data elements.  I'd swag it at 2.5 person weeks max including development, testing, conformance to any development standards, and packaging."
