I'm exporting a small site, and the progress log reports no errors, ending
with about 15 lines starting with "Downloading attachment: "; mostly jpg's
with a .doc and .xls file. No errors are reported, but the output only
includes .html files - none of the attachments are downloaded.

Also having this issue. There are about a hundred photos on the site as
attachments and although the progress box says 'Downloading attachment,'
they are not found in the destination folder.

Also having this issue. Attachments are shown as exported in log, but do
not exist in target directory.
