Editor role - advanced configuration

Hi

is it possible to configure editor role in this way, that the editor can edit the Google Sheet doc but he/she is unable to save the doc as a .xls / .csv file?

Hi

You can set Restrict sharing options on Drive files - Prevent commenters and viewers from downloading, printing, or copying files. I think.

thank you fo your support! Yes, I know that I can put a restrictions for viewers and commenters, but do we have a similar option for editor users?

Oh! I see now!

I think is't not possible because editors have full access to the content.

In other words, for editors, they are forced to download the data to their browser in full which means that this restriction loses its ability.

Yep. I would also like to add that editors can access the data programmatically (via API). But readers may be limited and the API may not allow them to receive data.
