Hi all,

I have to track a review proces for a magazine, and I would like to see where delays occur. Therefore I want to use conditional formatting to color a cell when a certain amount of time has passed.

To be more clear, for example:
Event 1 was on 01/01/2022
Event 2 on 01/10/2022
Event 3 on 01/22/2022
Event 4 on 03/12/2022
Event 5 on 03/20/2022
Now there's a delay between event 3 and 4, so I'd like event 4 to be colored red so I can see that's where there's a delay.

So in words, I'd say
Color event x red if the date difference between event x and the previous event is more than 30 days

I've been searching but I can't fine how to make a rule for this using conditional formatting. Can anyone help me? What should the formula be? I would be extremely grateful if someone knows how to do this and will give me the formula to copy-paste if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Abmber!

The best way to do this is to use Conditional formatting.
